Lungo il Tevere Estate

If you are planning for your summer vacation, the Roman Summer Festival or the Estate Romane will be perfect for you. The festival starts in June and runs through to September. Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics

The regatta is an ancient Italian boat race. These boats are called Gozzi, and eight rowers operate each boat. The starting point is the four maritime republics of Venice, Genoa, Amalfi, and Pisa. The participants put on traditional costumes, and the interesting thing is that the location of this festival rotates every year.


Disfida is an archery contest that is held in July every year at Northern Tuscany. This festival is all about flag throwers, medieval processions, and fireworks. Some other archery contests are organized in other towns such as Tuscany and Montalcino.
